For my observation and practical hours, I split them between the ESL classes at the University of Montana in Missoula, and the English department at the Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell, Montana.

I was able to view three different teachers, all with different styles and subjects, and assist in classroom operations and student work. I worked primarily with students from Japan.

I learned a lot from these observations and interactions. The teachers I worked with were experienced, intentional, and kind people. I am so grateful that they allowed me into their classrooms and answered so many of my questions.
